I've had my razor for over 1yr now and thought I'd never use the cleaner, but just plug it in to the wall. After trying it for the first time though, I was hooked. Just the thought of it being all clean/disinfected plus that smell, and there's no turning back.
I only charge/clean it once a week and just shake it out daily. This seems to last 2-3 months per refill. I think that's acceptable. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
I love this. I have only had it for a few weeks, but I have had no problems with it. My hair is a little split-ended because I haven't had a trim in way too long, but this helps those ugly ends.... disappear! Well, they look a lot better anyway.
It is extremely difficult if not impossible to determine what brush heads to order for your Sonicare toothbrush. The official Sonicare site isn't much help; they don't even have very good pictures of their products. I ordered these brush heads, but who knows if they will work. Also, the Sonicare toothbrush that my son uses has a faulty seal where the brush head meets the base, so that gunk builds up in the crevices inside. Looks like the same gunk that happens on the special brush head holder.
I purchased this item to send as a gift to overseas family member. So far, this product is working fine with great features. I would buy another omron BP monitor (same one) for my own family.
This precision device, accurately measures only one thing directly: the total number of steps taken. Although, based on your entered weight and stride length, it also calculates the approximate calories burned, the number of "aerobic" steps taken, and distance walked. Furthermore, the meter resets at midnight, and keeps a 7 day log of all this information.
Granted that all variables are calculated (except total number of steps taken, By nature, they are not precise, and cannot be expected to be so. However, this is merely a limitation of physics and mathematics, not a problem with the pedometer itself.
I have owned it for about two weeks, and tested it in my twice daily walk up to a local park, with a known round trip distance of 2.8 miles. This meter consistently comes pretty close to this number with every walk. It calculates, based on one's weight (which, for me, is neatly coming down), thanks to the motivational factor that this device provides.
Omron is a trusted brand name for medical devices. I have owned an Omron spghymomaneter (blood pressure meter), that has served me well for years, giving accurate pulse and blood pressures.
Other reviews are correct that the belt clip is not reliable. I suggest attaching a safety pin through the cord, and clipping it to your shorts, sweats, or clothing. Make it un-loseable this way, or you will probably eventually lose it.
Conclusion: if you are serious about a walking exercise program, this is an extremely useful and low cost investment. Highly recommended, especially for diabetics those wishing to add exercise to the formula for lowering cardiovascular and stroke risk.
After my new dentist badgered me to get a Waterpik, she obviously knew I just wasn't the type to get my big hands in my small mouth with some dumb old string, I finally ordered one. It really has been worth every penny. Even convinced my wife to start using it and some gum problems she has had are starting to go away. We can't understand why her dentist hasn't been bugging her like mine did. About the only complaint I have is it works counterintuitively. I would have thought when you push the button on the hand held head that it would pump but it is the opposite. Turn the switch and you better have it in your mouth ready to go and only push the button when you need to remove the head from your mouth. I've done my share of washing the mirror in our bathroom. Otherwise works super.
This pedometer has really done its job. It is very accurate. I have used other, cheaper pedometers, but you get what you pay for. They count steps even when you are just moving your upper body. This one only counts "real" steps. If you are wanting a more healthy lifestyle, and motivate yourself to "get moving", then this is the pedometer for you.
Looks like a cheap shaver! Sounds like a cheap shaver! Feels like a cheap shaver! Cost like a cheap shaver!Shaves like a HIGH PRICE shaver! Nice and close for me!Love it! THe trimmer on it stinks! But I am HAPPY with it!
Norelco is a good product, and replacing heads after about two years of usage certainly improved performance.
My teeth feel really clean when I use Sonicare. The problem lies with the hassle associated with trying to recycle the base unit.
